Fast Delivery.
Delivery from stock is typically 2 working days. If we have to source the equipment for your requirement, it is still generally only a couple of weeks. Contrast that to manufacturer lead times often in excess of 8 weeks.
Multivendor.
Deal with just one company instead of many. Equipment from different manufacturers can be combined onto a single order, making it much easier to manage.
Out-of-Production Equipment.
Avoid re-writing procedures and software because the equipment you have been using is now unavailable new. We can supply equipment that the manufacturer has discontinued but can still be readily obtained in the second user marketplace.
Reliability.

Most of the equipment we supply is between 6 months and three years old. Remember, as soon as you start using a brand new piece of equipment, it effectively becomes second user. After 6 months, it's no different than buying the same equipment from us, but it will have cost you 30-70% more!!
In fact, it's very hard to think of a reason not to put second user as your procurement option of choice.
A word of warning though. The benefits of second user test equipment purchase can only be realised through reputable, quality local suppliers.
Be wary of buying from abroad where there can be poor regard for regulatory issues, such as EMC legislation and warranty support can be questionable.
Think carefully before buying from private individuals and auctions (online or otherwise).
Make sure you know who you are dealing with. The internet is a great business tool but it allows one-man-bands working out of their bedroom or garden shed to appear as big "international" corporations on the Net.
Do some sensible checks - do they have proper business premises, how many people do they employ, do they publish their accounts? Find out before you do business with them rather than discovering the quality is poor, the equipment is out-of-spec, or worse still, your warranty is worthless.
